NOTICE OF CLOSURE: CMTC WALK-IN CLINIC
After serving the Westshore Communities and beyond for nearly 20 years, we regret to inform you that our Walk-In Clinic is closed.
This decision has been made as a result of the chronic physician shortage in the Greater Victoria area. Despite ongoing efforts in Physician recruitment, we have been unable to sustain the 7-day / week walk-in services that we were proud to offer our patients in the past. This is most regrettable and we are sorry to have to make this decision.

All patient medical records will be stored according to College guidelines and copies made available upon request.
​
Moving forward, we recommend the services offered by the Westshore Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) for your walk-in medical needs. All UPCC's provide access to same day, urgent, non-emergency health care.

Please note that the Family Practice's of Dr. Coburn, Dr. Mursell and Dr. Piemontesi are not impacted by this closure, and we are open regular scheduled appointments, plus urgent same day visits.

UPDATED CLINIC PRACTICES
Colwood Medical remains open for Family Practice Patients for both in-person appointments and telehealth visits (video or telephone).
We still encourage telehealth appointments where it makes sense. Benefits are as follows:

Whether in-person or on-line, all patients will be seen by appointment only.
If you have an urgent medical issue, all family practice patients are able to book same day, urgent care appointments by calling in at 8:30am.
