Scheduling Appointments for Family Practice
Our office is now booking appointments according to an Advanced Access System, which is supported by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA). There are two types of appointments under this system:
Pre-booked Appointments
- These are appointments booked in advance for annual physicals, pap smears and review of chronic medical conditions.
Same-Day Appointments
- These appointments are reserved for short or urgent visits for patients with only one medical problem that can be handled in a short visit. Please call first thing in the morning to receive a same-day appointment.
