Dr Coburn has introduced Medeo, a secure video conferencing technology that allows him to consult with his family practice patients online for non-urgent care.

this technology is available across BC and is suitable for medical questions, referrals, follow-ups, prescription refills and chronic care.

Privacy and security are extremely important to Medeo. Their network is built and managed with bank-level security and health information is only stored in Canada.

To sign up for Medeo you need high-speed internet (wifi with min. 1Mbps or 3/4G). A computer with a webcam/microphone (no more then 4 yrs old), iPhone 4 (or newer) or a iPad 2 (or newer. Google Chrome browser is suggested (free download online).
